Sentra GT2860RS MS3Pro Build - Pt.#1 - Wiring the ECU Header and Starting my Dash Harness

Of all of the vehicles I have ever worked on in my life, this is probably the most poorly supported platform of 'Rice Rocket' ever and it breaks my heart. My parents bought our 2002 Sentra SE-R brand new in 2002 and when I finally got my license, this thing had my heart. Honestly for a little Sentra, this thing had some beans! and IMO had no business doing as well as it did at the Autocross and Drag Strip I used the car at in Highschool. Plagued with Issues from the Stock Engine Harness and ECU after an UpRev swap, and 2 Failed Non-NATS ECU's later, I decided that I am officially done with Nissans Early 2000's garbage and that I would build my own wiring harness using Megasquirts MS3Pro and add all the extras that I wanted in a nice clean way. Consider this a rough guide of my Journey through the brush with this unsupported platform, hopefully this info proves to be helpful for anyone looking to go full standalone with there Nissan Sentra!

I started my project by getting a good idea of what components I would be using like choosing my ECU, Main Engine Fuse Panel, Digital Dash Display, Buttons, Switches, Sensors, ETC. and getting everything into a spreadsheet. I mapped out a general idea of where all my components will live and where the harness will route to get to said components, and sketched something rough out on paper. I measured, marked down, and rechecked all of my harness measurements and took to the computer for some designy time! Here is my Interior Dash Harness Schematic I drew up of how I plan things to roughly be inside of the car.

Originally the schematic was drawn so that the ECU would get mounted in the floorboard, but I later decided the glovebox would be cleaner and more out of the way of your feets so opted for that instead. The whole door assembly and cubby was deleted in doing things this way. Once I final mount everything I will take some pictures and update on how that all turns out. Now that I have a clear image of what I'm using, where it will live in the car, and where I want to route my Wiring Harness through the car, I will determine all of the component wiring pinouts so I have clarity of what everything inside of the dash needs to function the way I want it to. Here is my initial ECU pinout so I could get started with this process.

The MS3Pro has 2 Main Connectors, a White and a Grey.
