Although Mr.WireDaddy does specialty electrical, he also is a very capable vintage vehicles wrench and has lots of experience working on Classic and Restomod cars!
This FJ40 came in with a 2FE, Carburated, Overheating, and Grinding 2nd nasty in the 3-speed transmission.
A mechanical diagnostic, headgasket job, and resetting the timing fixed the overheating issues we were having, and a rebuild of the transmission made for a leak-free and noise-free operating gearbox.
It was decided that a Holley Fuel Injection Sniper system would be used for added reliability and drivablity, and I wired this in as well as designed a harness for the FJ40 chassis to be able to do this again with documentation only, no vehicle needed.
Lastly, an A/C retrofit with a full Vintage Air system build and some Tuning all completed by THE ~WireDaddy~ would finish it off! Check this one out!
